Hey everyone! I'm struggling with staying motivated to exercise and was hoping to get some tips from people who have been in a similar situation.
I used to be really active and enjoyed working out, but over the past year, I've just lost all motivation. Every time I think about exercising, I feel tired and unmotivated. I know that exercise is important for my health and well-being, but I just can't seem to get back into it.
I'm hoping that some of you can share your own experiences and tips for staying motivated to exercise. How do you keep yourself accountable and motivated to work out, even when you don't feel like it? Have you found certain types of exercise or workouts that are particularly enjoyable for you? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I also struggled with staying motivated to exercise. One thing that helped me was to make my workout sessions feel like self-care instead of a chore. I would light candles, turn on my favorite music, and make a fresh smoothie before working out. This helped me to look forward to my workouts and created a positive atmosphere.
Another thing that helped me was to find a workout routine that was easy and accessible. I started doing 30-minute home workouts using fitness apps or watching YouTube videos. This saved me time and money from going to the gym, and I was able to fit it into my busy schedule.
It's also important to find a form of exercise that you love. I used to force myself to do workouts I didn't enjoy, which would demotivate me. But when I found a workout that I found enjoyable, like dance classes, it made it more fun and helped me stay motivated to exercise.
Lastly, I found that having a simple reward system helped me stay motivated. Like treating myself after completing a week's worth of workouts to my favorite food, or indulging myself in a hot bath with bath bombs. Small rewards help to keep me going and have something to look forward to.
