I've been struggling with stubborn belly fat for a while now, and no matter how much cardio or dieting I do, it just doesn't seem to budge. I've heard that strength training can be really helpful for reducing belly fat, but I'm a little confused - do I need to be losing weight overall for this to work?
For context, I've been trying to stick to a healthy diet and get at least 30 minutes of cardio in most days of the week, but despite seeing progress in other areas, my midsection seems to remain unchanged. I'm hoping that incorporating some strength training might help, but I don't want to get too focused on the scale if it's not necessary.
