Hi everyone,
I have recently started my weight loss journey, and I am trying to figure out the most effective approach to slim down. I have been tracking my explicit exercise sessions, such as going to the gym or going for a run. However, I am not sure if I should also track my overall daily activity levels, such as walking around at work or doing household chores.
I am wondering how important it is to keep track of these daily activities when trying to slim down. Will it make a significant difference in my weight loss journey? Or should I just focus on my explicit exercise sessions?
Any insight or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello,
I have also been on a weight loss journey for a few months now, and I have found that tracking my overall daily activity levels has been very helpful. Although exercising at the gym certainly burns calories, the fact is that we spend most of our day in sedentary activities. Sadly, we sometimes forget how many calories we burn by only walking or taking the stairs.
By tracking my overall daily activity levels, I have a better understanding of how many calories I am burning throughout the day. This insight has helped me make simple changes in my behavior, like going for a walk after dinner, that have a big impact on my overall calorie burn.
I believe that tracking daily activity levels is essential for a well-rounded weight loss program. It helps you find ways to elevate your overall calorie burn and maintain your weight loss long-term. So I would definitely recommend keeping track of your daily activity levels alongside your specific workout sessions.
Good Luck!
