Hi everyone,
I am a vegan and have recently decided to lose some weight. However, I am struggling to find high-protein plant-based options to include in my diet. I usually rely on tofu, tempeh, and lentils, but I am getting a bit bored of eating the same things all the time.
I was wondering if anyone could suggest any other high-protein plant-based options that would be helpful for weight loss. I would love to hear about some creative ways to incorporate protein into my diet without consuming too many calories. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance.

Hi there,
As a fellow vegan who has also been working on losing weight, I have found that adding seitan to my diet has been really beneficial. Seitan is made from wheat protein, and it is a great source of protein with very little fat and carbs. It's also really versatile, as it can be flavored and prepared in many different ways.
Another option that has helped me is adding more leafy greens to my meals. Greens like kale, spinach, and collard greens are high in protein and low in calories, making them an excellent addition to any diet. I like to mix them into my smoothies, sauté them as a side dish, or even use them as a wrap for sandwiches or tacos.
I also recommend experimenting with different grains like quinoa, farro, or barley. These grains are all great sources of protein and can be used in a variety of dishes. I like to make a big batch of quinoa at the beginning of the week and use it as a base for salads, stir-fries, and even breakfast bowls.
I hope this helps, and best of luck on your weight loss journey!
