I am a 30-year-old who works a desk job and leads a sedentary lifestyle. I have realized that I need to start exercising to improve my health and fitness levels. However, I am not sure where to start and how to ensure that I do not injure myself while starting my exercise regimen.
Can anyone share some tips on how to safely start exercising for someone who comes from a sedentary background? I do not want to be discouraged by any injuries or setbacks, so any advice on how to gradually increase the intensity of my workouts would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, any suggestions on the type of exercises I should start with and how frequently I should do them would be helpful too.
