I'm new to the fitness world and I'm looking for some advice on how I can progress in my workouts without pushing myself too hard. I've recently started going to the gym a few times a week and doing some light cardio and weightlifting. While I've felt some improvements in my strength and endurance, I'm starting to feel like I need to step it up in order to see more progress.
However, I don't want to overdo it and risk injury or burnout. I also don't want to push myself so hard that I get discouraged and give up altogether. So my question is, how do I challenge myself and progress in my workouts in a safe and sustainable way? Are there certain exercises or techniques that are better for beginners like myself?
