Hi everyone!
I've been hearing a lot about intermittent fasting lately and I'm intrigued to try it out. I've struggled with my weight and I'm looking for a sustainable way to lose some pounds. I also want to improve my overall health and energy levels.
Could someone explain the different types of fasting and what their benefits are? I'm not sure where to start or which approach would be best for me. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello there,
I've been fasting intermittently for about a year and have tried different fasting methods. For instance, I have given 14/10 fasts, 16/8 fasts, 18/6 fasts, and fasts that last for 24 hours a try. In my personal experience, what has worked best for me is the 16/8 way of fasting.
The primary benefit that I have experienced is weight loss. I struggled with losing weight for many years and tried a lot of different methods but nothing was sustainable for me. Since I started fasting intermittently, I have been able to lose about 15 pounds, and for the first time, I'm not experiencing the guilt and distress of losing weight.
I've also noticed that my digestion has improved considerably since starting intermittent fasting. I don't feel bloated or sluggish after meals anymore, and I don't have to deal with the acid reflux symptoms that used to bother me often.
In conclusion, intermittent fasting has helped me in multiple ways like weight loss, better digestion, and even elevated mood. However, what has worked for me may not necessarily work for someone else, so it's vital to experiment before settling on a specific form of fasting. Good luck on your journey, hope you choose what suits you best!
