I'm looking into trying a ketogenic diet to lose weight. Can anyone share their experience with this type of diet?

I've been struggling with my weight for a while now and I'm looking to try out a ketogenic diet as I've heard a lot about it. I'm not really sure how it works and if it's effective though. Has anyone here tried a keto diet before to lose weight? If so, how was your experience? Did you find it difficult to maintain? Were there any side effects?
