Hi everyone,
I'm really excited to say that I'm pregnant! As a first-time mom, I want to make sure that I'm doing everything possible to stay healthy and active throughout my pregnancy. I know that exercise is important, but I'm not sure what types of exercises are safe for me to do right now.
I used to go to the gym regularly before getting pregnant, but now I'm not sure if it's safe for me to continue lifting weights or doing other high-impact exercises. I also love to go for walks and do yoga, but I'm not sure if those are appropriate for a pregnant woman either.
If anyone has experience with exercising during pregnancy or can provide any recommendations, I would be really grateful. I want to make sure that I'm keeping myself and my baby healthy, but I also want to stay active and enjoy this new phase of my life. Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer!

Hi there!
First, congrats on your pregnancy! I know it can be overwhelming trying to figure out what's safe and what's not when it comes to exercising during pregnancy. I found that swimming was a great way to stay active while being gentle on my body. The water provides support and takes some pressure off your joints, which can be a big relief if you're experiencing any discomfort.
I also tried some prenatal workout videos on YouTube, which were really helpful. There are a lot of workout routines specifically designed for pregnant women that focus on strength training and cardio, but with modifications to make them safe for pregnancy.
It's important to listen to your body and not push yourself too hard. Remember that your body is going through a lot of changes, and you need to be kind to yourself. I would also recommend checking with your healthcare provider before starting any new exercise program, just to make sure it's safe for you and your baby.
Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!
