I've recently started going to the gym regularly and I've been doing both cardio and weightlifting workouts. However, I'm a bit confused about the order in which I should be doing them. Should I do cardio before weightlifting or after? And is it okay to combine the two types of exercises in one session?
Just to give you some context, I'm looking to lose some weight and improve my overall fitness. I usually spend around an hour in the gym and my routine includes about 30-40 minutes of cardio and 20-30 minutes of weightlifting. I've heard different opinions on the best way to structure these sessions and I'm not sure what to do.
Any tips or advice on how to combine cardio and weightlifting workouts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
