I have been on a weight loss journey for a little while now and I have been sticking to a pretty strict diet and exercise routine. However, I have been wondering if it's okay to have a cheat day while trying to lose weight? I am really craving some of my favorite foods, and I feel like allowing myself a cheat day once a week or so would help me stick to my diet plan better in the long run.
But I'm also worried that having a cheat day could completely derail my progress and set me back. I don't want to undo all the hard work I've put in so far. So, I'm wondering if anyone else has had experience with cheat days while trying to lose weight? Is it something that can be done in moderation, or should I avoid them altogether?
