I am currently trying to lose weight and get fit, but I'm finding it difficult to see any progress. I'm wondering what are some common mistakes people make when trying to achieve this goal? I can definitely relate to the challenges of trying to lose weight and get fit. One mistake I made was not being consistent with my efforts. At the start of my fitness journey, I would work out every day and eat healthy for a few days, but then I would completely lose motivation and fall back into old habits.
Another mistake I made was not educating myself on proper nutrition. I was eating what I thought was healthy, but I didn't realize that some foods that seem nutritious actually contain a lot of hidden sugars or unhealthy additives. Once I took the time to learn more about nutrition, I was able to make better choices and see more progress.
Lastly, I made the mistake of comparing my progress to others. Everyone's journey is different, and we all have our unique challenges and strengths. Instead of focusing on what other people were doing, I tried to focus on my progress and celebrate my achievements, no matter how small.
