Hi everyone,
I am currently struggling with staying motivated in my fitness journey. I have been working out consistently and eating healthier for a few months, but recently I feel like I have hit a plateau. I am not seeing the results that I want and it's making me feel discouraged. I know that progress takes time, but I am feeling impatient and I really want to see changes.
What are some strategies that you use to keep yourself motivated when you hit a plateau or don't see results right away? How do you deal with feelings of discouragement and frustration? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello,
I totally understand what you are going through. Hitting a plateau can be really frustrating, and it's important to try and stay motivated during this time. One thing that has helped me in the past is to try and focus on the process, rather than just the results.
For example, when working out, instead of focusing on the fact that my body doesn't seem to change, I focus on how exercising makes me feel. It could be feeling more energized, refreshed, or destressed. By focusing on the benefits of exercise that aren't necessarily related to how I look, I find I can enjoy the process more, and I tend to stick with it for longer.
Another strategy that has worked well for me is to find something that motivates me that isn't related to exercise directly. It could be signing up for a fun race that I can get excited about or buying myself a new workout outfit that I can't wait to wear. By giving myself something to look forward to that isn't solely results-driven, it helps me stay motivated and focused on my overall wellbeing.
I hope this helps in some way!
