Hey guys,
I'm relatively new to the whole fitness thing and I'm a bit confused about when the best time to work out is. I work a 9-5 job and usually have some free time in the evenings after work, but I've also heard that working out in the morning is better for energy and metabolism throughout the day.
So my question is, does when you work out really matter? Is it better to work out in the morning or in the evening? I want to make sure I'm getting the most out of my workouts and don't want to waste my time if I'm not doing it at the optimal time.
Any personal experiences or insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hey there,
Personally, I prefer to work out in the mornings before work as it gives me an energy boost for the day ahead. I find that if I work out in the evening, I struggle to wind down and have trouble sleeping. However, I do know people who swear by evening workouts as a way to relieve stress from the day and wind down before bed.
It really comes down to personal preference and what fits into your schedule best. As long as you're consistent with your workouts and pushing yourself, the time of day shouldn't make too much of a difference.
That being said, if you're trying to build muscle, some studies suggest that working out in the evening may be more effective as your testosterone levels are higher. But again, this may not make a significant difference unless you're an athlete or bodybuilder.
Overall, find what works for you and stick with it! Consistency is key to seeing results in your fitness journey. Good luck!
